Njordr Offshore Wind is planning an offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea located approximately 60 km northeast of Fårö and approximately 100 km east of Nynäshamn. The project is a large extension south of Project Delta.
The wind farm is planned to consist of up to 184 wind turbines with a maximum total height of 330 meters. Expected production from the wind farm is 11 TWh per year, which corresponds to the household electricity of just under 2 million households with a consumption of 6,200 kWh per year (Energy Agency 2012). This production will be a significant addition to the region. The wind farm is expected to be in operation around 2032-2033.
